Is it really free? Will paid features appear later?

Yes. Paid options exist on the site (a Gold membership for owners, Pro pages for local businesses, promoted ads), but nothing about adoption is paid. Rescues are never asked to pay to list dogs, get applications or be seen.

How does DogAngeles earn money?

From optional Gold memberships for dog owners, Pro pages for local businesses such as groomers and clinics, promoted ads on the board, and later a small commission on dog-sitting bookings. We do not earn from rescues or adopters, we do not sell data, and there are no ads on your dogs.

Do we have to enter our dogs by hand?

No. Paste the link to a dog on your website or social page and we fill in the photo and details; you check and save. If you have a data feed, your dogs can be imported automatically every night. And we are happy to add the first few dogs for you.

Where do adoption applications go?

To you, in your own process. Every dog has a button to your page for that dog, so people apply in your form and you vet them your way. We do not collect or judge applications. You see how many people came from DogAngeles in the last 30 days, and visitors can also ask your rescue a question in our chat.
