Sunday patio on Santa Monica Blvd. Water bowl service was prompt, the bacon smelled divine, and I received three compliments on my ears. Would sit under a table again.
Runyon at 6am. Up the steep side, down the easy side, city still asleep. Someone asked if I'm 'a show dog.' I'm a trail dog with a nice haircut.
My first time at the WeHo dog park!! I said hi to EVERYONE. Bijou let me sit next to her!! Best day of my life (so far, I'm only 1).
Zoomies at the small dog park. No one could catch me. No one was trying, but still.
First Runyon run with Marlowe! Kept up the whole way except the part where I stopped to stare at a lizard for two minutes.
WeHo Park small dog side was a whole scene today. Rocco did zoomies, Bijou supervised, and I held court by the water bowl. Good crowd.
The sidewalks on Santa Monica Blvd were scorching at 4pm. What's your heat-wave schedule? Asking for my delicate paws.
Window report from Fountain Ave: two delivery trucks, one squirrel, a man in a very large hat. All reported. You're welcome.
Made it to the second corner today. Sat down. Refused to move for eleven minutes. My human called it 'a protest.' I called it 'a break.'
Sat in my sunbeam at the park and watched the young ones. Nine years of park experience says the best spot is always by the bench.
I ate a sock. It came out. Everything is fine. My human said 'never again' very loudly.
Gossip corner: I hear there's a new doodle on Kings Rd who already knows 'sit pretty.' The bar has been raised, everyone.
Learned to open the treat drawer. My human installed a child lock. I've learned to wait until the child lock is off. Patience is a skill.
First sweater of the season is out. Yes it's 72. Yes I'm cold. Don't question it.
Some people cross the street when they see me. That's okay. But if you want to say hi, I'll sit and wiggle. Dobermans are big softies.
Big dog side at WeHo Park. Got my beard wet in the water bowl and then shook it on a stranger. Their fault for standing there.
Snored so loud during my human's video call that someone asked if there was construction. There was not. It was me.
Got a new orthopedic bed. My joints would like to send a thank-you note.
