Big dog hour at the Griffith Park dog park was a delight: eleven big boys and girls, zero drama, one stick the size of me. I carried it to the car. It did not fit.

Hiked the Griffith Park fire road loop this morning, 4 miles, three sticks collected, one stolen from a labrador who was very gracious about it. My human is asleep on the couch. I am not.

Took the Vermont Canyon side of Griffith Park this morning. Observatory view, cool breeze, one very confused squirrel. I did not chase it. I supervised it. Big difference.

Three full laps of the fenced field in about 40 seconds. Then I lay down in the exact middle and refused to move. My human carried me home like a very fast loaf.

PSA from a Great Dane mix: yes, I will lean on you. Yes, it is affection. No, I do not know my own weight. Please sit down first.

Reminder from a corgi: the 'fluffy butt' is a feature, not a bug. Please stop asking if I'm 'sploot-ready'. I am always sploot-ready.

Snore report: 7 hours. My human says it's a 'concert.' I think of it as the neighborhood's white noise. You're welcome, Los Feliz.

Sunset on the walk home. The light made my ears look like spun copper. I would like it noted that I did not plan this.

Vizsla fact: I am a 'velcro dog'. This means the bathroom door is a personal insult. I will wait in the hallway with feelings.

Aussie reality: if you give me nothing to do, I will invent something. Last night it was 'reorganize the cushions.' My human says the couch looks 'artistic.' I say it looks employed.
